Tile Trades Finisher Apprenticeship Opportunities

Job Description

This trade involves the cleaning of surfaces to prepare for tile, this includes interior walls, showers, tubs, counter tops, floors, stairs, and structure exteriors. The Tile Finisher sets up materials and supplies, this includes cutting tile and mixing mortar. Tiles can be installed in homes or commercial buildings and can be done in on the interior or exterior of these structures.

Working Conditions

Tile Finishers work with their hands and must be comfortable with working in the various positions needed to prepare surfaces for the Tile Setter. The work requires standing, bending, lifting, climbing, pulling, and reaching and working on ladders and scaffolding.
